Yoganga Healing Retreat in Rishikesh

Yoganga Healing is a holistic healing system derived from the eight limbs of Patanjali’s yoga. Yoganga healing is process of introspection in order to recognise and differentiate oneself from the environment and others. One is guided in learning to heal themselves from the inside out through the practice of the limbs of yoga (yoganga) and the cultivation of: Deep Relaxation, Self Awareness, Acceptance, Forgiveness, Gratitude, and Surrender. With these steps profound and deep healing can take place within the organism.

At Yoganga Healing Centre in Rishikesh the various limbs of traditional yoga are applied effectively to awaken the healing potential within the individual. Healing sessions are holistic, drawing upon both Eastern and Western approaches to mental and physical health. Eastern techniques include the use of meditation, energy meridians, breath work, hatha yoga, yoga nidra and mindfulness practices. These traditional techniques are interwoven with modern western approaches such as hypnotherapy, cognitive behaviour therapy, neuro-linguistic programming, life coaching, psychotherapy, and cognitive re-framing through yogic counselling. The modality used for healing depends nature of problem and goal of the participant. This healing process is effective in resolving conflicts at the more subtle levels of consciousness. Yoganga Healing is the ultimate tool to enhance the quality of life and lightness of being.

The Power of Healing:

Awareness of pain or illness can be a beginning of self transformation. By harnessing the powers of yoga philosophy, eastern practices, and western techniques we can unleash our potential to heal and transform our lives, relationships, hearts and souls. Yoganga Healing is the experience of inner transformation and holistic healing on all levels of being.

Yoganga is a work in sanskrit that means “limb of yoga”. Anything that turns our awareness inwards is a limb of yoga. Yoganga implies a collective approach, integrating various tools and practices. Every single limb of yoga is contributing to work with and reduce suffering. Yoga is that tool which helps us to bring the awareness internal. When we are able to turn inside and discover our inner world, we awaken our potential and unleash our power to heal and free ourselves.

Yoganga Healing uses three tools to cultivate six steps in the path towards self healing.

Philosophical Grounding

Breath Work

Cognitive Reframing

These three techniques enable the following six stages of healing:

Relaxation

Self-Awareness

Acceptance

Forgiveness

Gratitude

Surrender

Meals are vegetarian, served on our open-air and enjoyed in the company of the other students. Many friendships are formed over the conversations and laughter that last long after the food is served, and indeed long after the yoga retreat you feel different inside.

Our teachers and staff is friendly, helpful and there to make your yoga retreat holiday a comfortable and fruitful one. One of the favorite features of the guest is offered to visit/tour to near by holy places.
